There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou

Whether therapy is something you’ve been thinking about for a while, have tried in the past, or are stepping into for the first time with some hesitation, I want to say welcome. Finding a therapist isn’t always easy, and I feel honored that you’re considering giving me the opportunity to walk alongside you in this process.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected from yourself or your relationships, carrying around unaddressed pain, or unsure of where to begin when so much of your story hasn’t had space to be heard. Life can become so busy that it feels hard to catch your breath, and therapy can be that space to slow down, sit with your feelings, and begin to explore and make sense of what is around and within you.

What it means to heal, and how that happens, can look different for everyone. I believe healing begins when we start understanding our emotions, noticing our patterns, and making sense of the experiences that have shaped us. As we build this kind of self-awareness, we open space for growth. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, open, reflective, and grounded in compassion.

We all come from different walks of life and carry those perspectives into each space we enter. This will be seen and appreciated in the room with me. From my own work in therapy, I understand sitting with pain, uncertainty, or past wounds isn’t easy, and I admire the bravery it takes to even begin. Therapy isn’t about having it all figured out, it’s about showing up, and that alone deserves recognition and care.

Therapy is about honoring your experiences, reconnecting with your sense of self, and finding ways to move forward and adjust. Wherever you are in this journey, I will meet you with support, reflection, and a space where your story will be held with care. I believe in everyone’s ability to come out stronger from the difficulties life brings.
